One agreed price, door to door

Prague to Lednice–Valtice is roughly 250 km, about 3 hours on the road. The fare is a fixed 6,050 CZK one way, and it is all inclusive: motorway tolls, the vignette, energy, luggage handling, onboard Wi-Fi and bottled water. No meter, no surcharge for traffic, nothing added on arrival. The same figure applies whether you start from a Prague hotel or from Václav Havel Airport — and it applies the same way in either direction: booking this as your trip out to Lednice–Valtice or as your return trip back to Prague is each its own one-way fare at this price, not a round trip covered by a single payment.

Why people go to Lednice–Valtice

Two chateaux linked by 300 square kilometres of deliberately designed countryside — avenues, follies, a minaret, an artificial ruin — laid out by the Liechtensteins over three centuries. It is the largest man-made landscape in Europe, and it is best seen by moving between the pieces, which is awkward without a car.

Worth knowing before you go

Lednice glasshouse and the minaret are the two not to skip.

Why not the train or the bus

Public transport to Lednice–Valtice generally means getting yourself and your luggage across Prague to the right station first, then a timetable that decides your day for you, then whatever is left between the station and where you are actually going. A private transfer collects you at your door and leaves you at the address you asked for. On a route this length that difference is usually an hour or more, and all of the hassle.

Charging: the honest version

Worth stating plainly rather than burying. The car is 100% electric, and at 250 km this route is beyond a single charge, so a fast-charging stop of roughly 30 minutes is planned into the schedule.

On a one-way transfer it normally falls on the driver's return leg, so it costs you nothing at all. On a wait-and-return booking we tell you before you confirm where the stop falls and build it around your day — usually onto a meal or coffee break rather than into the middle of your schedule. Either way, the arrival time you are quoted is the arrival time you get.

The vehicle

A 100% electric Škoda Enyaq SUV, unmarked and without a taxi roof sign. The boot takes two large suitcases plus two cabin bags comfortably; tell us in the notes if you have more and we will confirm the fit before your date. Onboard Wi-Fi, chargers at every seat and chilled bottled water are standard, and your driver speaks English.

Booking and payment

Nothing is charged when you book. Payment is by card on a SumUp terminal in the vehicle, or in advance by secure link if your company needs it that way. We are not a VAT payer, so the figure you are given is final. For a return trip, a wait-and-return, or an address well outside the centre, add it to the booking notes and we will confirm the adjusted fixed price before you commit.
