What we collect, why we hold it, and how to have it removed.

2. What we collect
- Reservation data: name, phone number, email address, pickup and destination address, date and time, flight number, package selected and any notes you provide.
- Consent record: the timestamp and IP address recorded when you tick the terms box, together with an approximate location derived from that IP. This exists to evidence that the transport contract was concluded.
- Technical data: standard web server logs. The site does not run advertising or profiling cookies.
3. Why we process it, and on what basis
- Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): arranging, confirming and carrying out your transport.
- Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR): record-keeping required of a licensed transport operator under Act No. 111/1994 Coll., and accounting records.
- Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): retaining the consent log to defend against a dispute about whether and on what terms a booking was made.
We do not process your data for marketing and we do not send newsletters.
4. Who else sees it
Your data is not sold or shared for marketing. It is disclosed only to: our payment provider SumUp when you pay by card; our hosting and email providers as processors; and public authorities where the law requires it, for example during a transport inspection.
5. How long we keep it
Reservation and consent records are kept for the period required by Czech accounting and transport law, generally up to 5 years from the end of the accounting period. After that they are deleted. Records for reservations that are cancelled before the ride are deleted within 12 months unless a dispute is open.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected, to have it erased, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. Write to info@privatetaxi.cz and we will respond within one month. Erasure may be limited where we are legally obliged to keep a record.
You may also complain to the Czech data protection authority, Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů (uoou.cz), Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Praha 7.
7. Cookies
The site sets only the cookies WordPress needs to function. If website analytics are enabled, they are configured with IP anonymisation and are not used to build advertising profiles.
8. Changes
This policy may be updated. The version published here at the time of your booking is the one that applies to it, and the version you accepted is recorded against your reservation. See also our Terms of Transport.
9. Exercise your rights
Use the form below, or write to info@privatetaxi.cz. You do not need to give a reason and there is no charge. We reply within one month.
