One licensed driver, one electric car, every ride driven personally.
A single-vehicle operation, on purpose
privatetaxi.cz is run by Savaş Aydın, a licensed Prague taxi driver operating one 100% electric Škoda Enyaq. There is no dispatch pool and no roster of subcontractors. The person who confirms your booking is the person who meets you at arrivals.
That is a deliberate limit rather than a stage of growth. It is why reservations are confirmed individually instead of automatically, why standard bookings open 36 hours ahead, and why the standard of the car and the driving does not vary between one ride and the next. A larger fleet would take more work and deliver a less predictable result.
Licensing and legal basis
The business is registered in the Czech Republic under IČO 19208367, with its registered office at Viklefova 1723/3, Žižkov, 130 00 Praha 3. The vehicle carries a taxi registration number and the driver holds a Czech taxi driver’s licence — both are listed in full on the Terms of Transport page and inside every reservation record.
Each booking is concluded as a contract for occasional passenger transport under Act No. 111/1994 Coll. and the Czech Civil Code, with your confirmation email carrying the signed agreement as a PDF attachment. We are not a VAT payer, so quoted prices are final.
Why electric
The Enyaq was chosen for the cabin as much as the emissions. It is silent at speed, which makes calls and conversation genuinely workable, and it is pre-conditioned before pickup so the interior is right when you get in rather than ten minutes later. The trade-off is honest: on routes past roughly 240 km a fast-charging stop of about half an hour is planned in, and we tell you where it falls before you book.
What we do not do
No surge pricing, no meter, no roof sign, no commission-driven detours to shops or restaurants. Prices are published on the rates page and quoted in full before you commit.
